We are Jason and Penny Dyer, the proud owners of Dyer & Associates CPA, PLLC. We look forward to sharing our story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know us better.
My husband Jason and myself come from a background in accounting. As certified public accountants, we started our firm in 1996 to help small business clients and individuals with accounting and tax needs.
Initially, as a referral-only business, we grew steadily over the years to be one of North Mississippi’s best CPA, accounting, and tax providers. Today the field of accounting has changed considerably, with most tasks being taken care of online and government agencies requesting client information and documentation electronically.
The parts of our work life that we most enjoy are the chances we get to help people. Similarly, as a family-run business, we offer accounting and tax services that are consistently the best and come highly recommended. Our motto is “Accounting Made Simple,” and we strive to explain even complex IRS (Internal Revenue Service) or accounting jargon in a way that everyone will understand.
As individuals, what sets us apart from others is, we offer all our clients the same level of service and dedication regardless of business type or scale. We are honest, straightforward, and genuinely care about our client’s wellbeing.
We attribute our success to our commitment to perfection, accountability, and the fact we don’t serve our clients just for today. We build relationships that last a lifetime and multiple generations.
Achieving such a high rate of return business and winning Desoto’s Best award two years in a row has given us immense satisfaction.
When not at work, we have multiple hobbies and pursuits. At the moment, with five kids, we are busy with high school sports events but are also increasingly able to spread our wings as our children are graduating high school, college, and flying out of the nest.
We also believe in giving back to society and, as part of that belief, support various causes and charities. Breast cancer research is a cause particularly close to our hearts.
We have enjoyed sharing our story about the things that matter to us and how they influence the way we do business.
